SKETCHUP / PHOTOSHOP (PERSPECTIVE WORKSHOP)

SketchUp is a quick and powerful 3D modeling tool. Photoshop is the industry standard photo-editing and digital drawing tool. Put together, they create a versatile set of tools that allow you to quickly create perspective sketches for client meetings or render presentation quality images for public meetings.

This workshop shows how to effectively use these two programs together to increase your ability to produce effective perspective images of your designs. This workshop will teach you how to incorporate perspectives and sketches into your everyday workflow, without having to have dedicated "computer guys" to illustrate your project ideas.

Some basic experience with SketchUp and Photoshop is suggested.
In addition to giving you a thorough understanding of how the programs work and showing you numerous time-saving tips, the workshop will cover the following topics and many more:
- Using SketchUp PhotoMatch with Photoshop to integrate your 3D model into an existing site photograph
- Creating your own 2D tree components from your existing Entourage tree files
- Integrate your SketchUp models into Google Earth and send them to a client
- Advanced Masking Techniques in Photoshop to create Atmospheric Perspective
- How to use the powerful plug-ins called Ruby Scripts to automate tasks
